BEANS on TOAST, The ITALIAN Way! The name of this simple dish is British. But I really love this Italian version. Healthy, simple, inexpensive, this is often what I eat for breakfast. It’s got the crunch of the toast, the creaminess of the beans, richness of the olive oil with a touch of salt. Just a few simple ingredients. Use gluten free bread if you are gluten free. Directions

Toast the bread. Add some beans to each slice. Smash with a fork (like avocado toast). Drizzle with olive oil; add salt, pepper and top with some fresh basil🍃 Buon appetito!
